Graceful is an animated typography project made entirely in Photoshop made for my NMDE Digital Survey II class during my first year at RIT. The prompt was to choose a word from a short list, and then create an animation of that word that matched its meaning.
I drew from my experience as a figure skater for this project, recreating the appearance lines drawn by blades on ice for the majority of it. I also leaned heavily into my preference for illustration, using hand written type for the inclusion of the word itself.
